Meet the Benzer Family!  These lovely and loveable people are some of my favorite!  After enjoying a delicious Thanksgiving meal at their house this year, we headed out to Biddle Park to take some fun family fotos (sorry, I just couldn't help myself).  We scoped out the playground and got some fantastic shots of the family, just being themselves!  I could have spent all day just taking pictures of sweet Leah and Charlie (prounounced..."shar-lay")!  Thank you Benzer clan, for being so awesome!

Hedges Family | Atascadero, CA

Sometimes the best photo shoots are the ones that happen in the comfort of one's own home.  Jaxson was a trooper and big sister Eve was so great with him.  It's so fun to see my "little" sister's family grow.  Being an auntie is pretty close to being the best thing in the world!

Cuddle Bug | Templeton, CA

Now introducing the newest member of the Hedges family (and my first nephew!), Jaxson James!  My sister was such a trooper.  Being there with her in the delivery room was such an honor - especially when I could slip her a few extra ice cubes when the nurse wasn't looking.  Hey, when a woman's having a baby, you do whatcha gotta do to keep her happy!  After a full day of laboring, this little bundle of joy was born October 27, 2009 at 8:57pm, a healthy 6lbs 15oz and 19.5 in long!  Every time I hold him, I can feel my heart melting.  It's like I'm falling in love over and over and...

Weyel Family | San Luis Obispo, CA

When I moved back to CA 5 years ago, I found a job at Cuesta College working with student leaders.  I remember clearly how encouraged I was after my first conversation with Carolyn (who I knew only as "one of the gals in the office") as we walked across the courtyard on my first day, when she said that she was SO glad that they hired me because she knew I was a Christian.  Little did I know at that time that her friendship and our connection in Christ would carry me through some of the happiest and hardest seasons of my life.  5 years...and 2 kids later...I count her and her wonderful family (Gary, Lauren, and Jonathan) as one of the biggest blessings in my life!  LOVE THEM!
